Veronica La Rosa
Benicia Office Manager

HELLO!

As Connective’s Benicia Office Manager and Client Coordinator, I guide clients in their search for the right wellness practitioner. Based primarily in the Benicia office, I am looking forward to expanding our outreach in the neighborhood and connecting more with our lovely community!

MY BACKGROUND

I have worked in a variety of fields over the years and while they differ in some ways, they all come back to my ultimate skillset and goal… being a helper! I have worked as an administrative assistant for artists and entrepreneurs, an office manager for a private preschool, a chronically multitasking but enthusiastic waitress, and as a professional dogwalker and trainer! No matter what role I find myself in, I enjoy the process of learning how to anticipate and address the needs of my team and clients.

I am currently going back to school at UC Davis to earn a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and I am considering adding to my background working with young children by pursuing a minor in Education.

WHY I LOVE THIS WORK

I often wondered in my young adulthood what my purpose was or where I fit in in the world. I never felt seen as an individual. Through my own journey of self-reflection, I have found that I have grown into the kind of person I had hoped would mentor me as a youngster. I enjoy listening to and observing people. I find inspiration in helping connect to others, facilitate breakthroughs, and create solutions. Empathy and patience have guided my personal growth and I am always so eager to share those experiences to make sure our clients feel seen and respected.

A LITTLE MORE ABOUT ME

Outside of the office, I am most often found on roller skates! I play on an international competitive women’s roller derby team here in the Bay Area. As the captain of my team, I mentor the newer players who join us and help the veteran skaters find leadership and coaching roles for themselves. I enjoy spending time with my family, surfing, listening to podcasts, and any puzzle or word game I can get my hands on!
