WHO I WORK WITH
I work with individuals, including youth and adults navigating a range of challenges—including relationship issues, life transitions, anxiety, depression, parenting struggles, and trauma. I have experience supporting adults, teens, and children, and I specialize in helping people improve communication, deepen connection, and build healthier patterns within their relationships. I strive to offer a compassionate, inclusive space for growth and healing.
MY APPROACH
I'm a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist dedicated to helping individuals, couples, and families navigate life’s challenges and build stronger, more fulfilling relationships. My approach is gentle and collaborative, yet straightforward, and rooted in evidence-based practices. I enjoy using humor and I view therapy as a process of uncovering strengths and building healthy solutions. I believe that healing happens through connection, and I strive to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel seen, heard, and empowered to grow.
My therapeutic approach is compassionate, collaborative, and culturally responsive. I draw from evidence-based modalities such as Solution Focused Therapy, EMDR, and mindfulness-based practices to support clients in understanding their patterns, healing from past wounds, and creating meaningful change. I believe that every client holds the capacity for growth, and I aim to meet you where you are—with curiosity, respect, and care. Together, we’ll work to create a space where you feel safe, empowered, and supported in your journey toward deeper connection and emotional well-being.
MY BACKGROUND
I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a background in Psychology. I earned a Master’s in Psychology from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo. My training heavily focused on supporting youth and families using relational, systemic, and trauma-informed approaches to healing. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working with diverse individuals, couples, and families in school, community and private practice settings. My clinical experience includes supporting clients through life transitions, relationship challenges, identity exploration, and emotional healing. I’m passionate about creating a safe and affirming space where clients feel understood and supported as they grow.
WHY I LOVE THIS WORK
I love this work because I believe in the power of human connection and the resilience of the human spirit. It’s an honor to witness people as they make sense of their stories, heal old wounds, and move toward greater clarity, connection, and self-compassion. I’m continually inspired by my clients’ courage and growth. Being able to walk alongside individuals, couples, and families during both their struggles and breakthroughs is a privilege I hold with deep respect.
A BIT MORE ABOUT ME...
Outside of the therapy room, I’m someone who values presence, curiosity and play! I enjoy spending time in nature, jogging with my dog, reading, and connecting with my loved ones. I love to travel and I love experiencing live music. I believe in lifelong learning and am always seeking new ways to grow—both personally and professionally. My own journey has taught me the importance of compassion, authenticity, and balance, and I bring those values into the work I do with clients every day.
