WHO I WORK WITH
I work with individuals dedicated to creating meaningful change in their lives. Many of my clients are navigating life transitions, struggling with emotional management, or seeking to improve their relationships. I provide a supportive and compassionate environment where clients can gain clarity on what they would like to change in their lives and the steps needed to achieve those goals.
MY APPROACH
I take a collaborative and client-centered approach in therapy, believing that each person is the expert in their own life. My work is rooted in mindfulness and self-compassion techniques, which I use to help clients explore and develop a cohesive sense of self. I also incorporate Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills to assist individuals in managing their emotions and stopping unwanted patterns of behavior. I always strive to bring my fullest compassion and non-judgment to my work.
MY BACKGROUND
I have a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology from UCLA and my master’s in Counseling Psychology from Golden Gate University. Prior to becoming a therapist, I worked as a coach and earned my certification from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). Through my coaching work, I realized my desire to connect with clients more deeply, leading me to pursue a career in therapy. Before coaching, I spent several years in recruiting within the tech industry.
WHY I LOVE THIS WORK
It’s an honor to support people who want to create change in their lives. I believe that all people are capable of change, and my intent is to build a therapeutic relationship that allows clients to feel heard and supported. Being of service to others is incredibly meaningful to me, and it brings me so much joy to see people lead more present and fulfilling lives.
A BIT MORE ABOUT ME...
I’m from the Bay Area and have lived in San Francisco for close to a decade. I love the natural beauty and architecture of the city and am a big fan of taking long urban walks. I’m also a big podcast, comedy, and Bravo TV fan. I love connecting with people and have always been passionate about understanding human behavior.
